Michelle grew up in beautiful Seattle, where her love for finance began during her time at the University of Washington. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on finance and further expanded her knowledge by completing the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® education program and passing the CFP® exam in 2022.
After a decade working for a large corporation as a customer experience leader, Michelle joined Legacy’s financial planning team in 2023. Her first-hand corporate experience allows her to guide clients in maximizing their benefits and compensation packages. She also shares her expertise through Legacy’s LaunchEd program, providing financial education to employees of local companies and using her experience to address the questions they face most often.
Michelle is passionate about making financial planning accessible to people of all backgrounds and communities, which is why she volunteers with Advisors Give Back, a non-profit focused on providing free access to fiduciary advice. In her free time, Michelle enjoys travelling (she’s visited 13 countries and counting!), cooking, going to live shows, and zooming around with her husband Hank on their Vespas.
