A very quick study, Brooklyn graduated in 2021 from the University of Missouri – Kansas City with a BBA after just three years. That same year, she also received her certificate in financial planning from MU before passing the Certified Financial Planner exam in 2022.

Originally from Yankton, South Dakota, Kansas City has been her home since 2018. She’s wasted no time getting acclimated, serving on the Starlight Theatre Business Advisory Council since 2023 and figuring out the KC restaurant scene in short order. Before joining Legacy, Brooklyn spent four years at another local independent financial planning firm working with high-net-worth clients as a financial planner.

She’s a strong believer in fee-only, holistic planning and enjoys taking the time to properly educate clients so they feel comfortable before making changes. When she isn’t spending time with her cat Brewster, Brooklyn loves playing pickleball, boxing, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
