Legacy is pleased to announce that BMF Investments, Inc. merged with Legacy Financial Strategies, LLC as of May 31st, 2016.
With the merger, Legacy welcomes Michael Farris to our team.
Michael Farris founded BMF Investments, Inc. in 2000 with a focus of using a holistic approach to financial planning to help his clients manage their wealth. An adviser since 1997, Michael is honored to have been able to help numerous clients through difficult financial times in their lives. Michael has experience in personal financial planning, business valuation and tax planning/consulting. Michael began his career as a CPA first at Touche’ Ross & Co (now Deloitte & Touche’) and later as the owner of his own CPA firm.
“My decision to merge was made after careful consideration, much deliberation and discussions with many professional peers,” Farris states.
“There are several reasons why I made this choice. First, BMF Investments has experienced a tremendous amount of growth in the past five years. Because of this, as a solo practitioner, it has become more difficult to maintain the customer service customers have come to expect and deserve. Second, I want to ensure business continuity and the well-being of every client. It only made sense to align myself with like-minded and trusted professionals who have the strong client commitment, a similar investment philosophy and stellar reputation to that of BMF Investments. Legacy fits this description. I strongly believe that this merger will not only allow for the service and client experience my clients have grown accustomed to receiving, but it will enhance it!”
Legacy is committed to providing our clients with an experience and service they will truly value. Both firms have been collaborating over the last several months to design a plan that makes the transition for current BMF Investments clients as seamless as possible. We continue to focus on all aspects of wealth management including investment, insurance and financial planning services, and look forward to helping our clients meet their ongoing financial goals.
